Some great stuff here - amazing how there was so little difference in prices and bhow some have gone up and other haven't really.
  3. I do understand the laws of supply and demand folks. Just don't want anyone to be hoodwinked when there are lots for sale.
  4. Well actually Dave I think I would. It's one thing having two, three, four or even five copies of a record, quite another to have 50-100. I think the seller himself is losing his credibility by drip feeding them out in this way looking at the posts on this thread. Steve
  5. Been telling you he had loads for ages now. He should be honest and say I got 100 copies or whatever he has. Instead he's doing the old milk em off one at a time job. As they say there's one born every minute.

Ha ha Interplay - how we loved that back in the main hall at Wigan in the 70s. Now I would never be seen within 100 yards of a copy. The Kid was always more of a youth club record - if the DJ didn't have any proper norvern he'd brobably have Andre Brassiere :
  7. Chuck H would be the better seller in my opinion Dave. It's played much less.
  8. Loads. And the irony is you guys keep buying it at the old price. There's only one winner in that game I am afraid.
  9. G+ Condition ???????????????? I wouldn't damage my stylus with it
  10. Bargain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Surprised no one has snatched this yet. Ted not going to put up a soundfile but think Willie Hutch mid 70s Motown midtempo dancer and you'll get the picture. I play it out sometimes and it always turns heads.
  11. How true is that!!!
  12. Thanks Steve, fortunately my only dealings with him were a long time ago. I am very lucky have never had an ebay deal go wrong apart from one cracked record, but then again I don't have the time to spend all my life on there
  13. Heard he was basically a guy who lived hand to mouth. Sold records to buy other records etc.
  14. John knows I have seen two copies together and they looked different. However as it was a fleeting moment at the record room in Clee I cannot confirm what the differences are now. But we came to the conclusion something was awry. As for the Johnny Watson, here I heard the exact same as relayed by JM. Even down to Tim A having to point out the "error" in the pricing after a certain Todmorden DJ and a couple of others had shelled out a considerable sum. Being slightly naive you would think it would be quite easy to tell a recent press from a legit 60s one.
  15. So now we can say 7,265??????
  16. Kids as in under 20s. I know they weren't children....Steve

Actually dropped "Keep marching" into a 60s set last Friday. It fitted in very nicely.
  18. Ha ha ha. I'll check but pretty certain he ran the label and the OOS's were just a group of kids who he recorded two singles on.
  19. As`a pop record it's actually a good track. The only highlight on an otherwise abysmal show last night.
  20. Well I will buy it, but that maybe because I am vain and think I am on the cover Otherwise it wouldn't be for me, but hey it's a release, it may have nothing to do with todays scene, but nor do many releases that come out and it's not like it's the first "basic NS" CD to ever come out. So I'd ordinarily be pretty neutral about it.
  21. Obstensively there is no difference.

Actually I have an ORIGINAL white with green writing demo as well as an original blue issue.
  24. Fantastic tune
  25. For those that were wondering....I spoke to Sam yesterday, he is in good spirits, and has started driving again. He was at Bournemouth last Friday.
