  1. 30 years for me this year and as someone said earlier, proud not to be a returnee - why would you?
  2. Reminds me of that awful Billy Watkins track that used to go for money.. "Any ice, today lady"? Nah, feck off!
  3. Good shout and on behalf of Ian, he would be more than happy to speak to you about this project.
  4. Close, 430 quid. Shows it's still holding it's value, well apart from the US one that slipped through the net. Wonder what the last copy will go for?
  5. Mick H has one as well. There was a thread on here about how her Dad was a Dentist or something and she was given the studio time to settle a debt.
  6. Hey don't feel sorry for me (as Jimmy Ruffin would say). I'm still miffed I parted with me first copy. Though the 350 was necessary at the time. Price is all relative though, I had multiple unplayed copies of Victor Knight's Chinatown. One sold for 30 quid on ebay auction, another for £170 on Manship auction.
  7. Yeah he said about the US listing. Would like to know what peanuts was. Still, a record is worth what you're prepared to pay for it I always say. I go to bed the high bidder. If I win that fecker in the morning I'll be reet pleased I tell the.
  8. I wanted to keep schtum about this as I wanted to have a cheeky bid and replace my copy I've been missing a couple years now, but who my kidding? Soul Source and every rare soul collector will be watching this minter from the original owner. Those that had their noses pressed up against the Eddie Parker window last week, next best (short term) thing? Not sure I can be assed to watch it finish at 6am as I think it'll be 500 sheets plus. https://www.ebay.co.u...s-/251226401325
  9. Equally fascinating. You can't think him mad for paying 8k for an Eddie Parker minter?
  10. Fascinating. I don't think it's so much he built the Thames Barrier, as they provide imagery of any terrain and the proceeds of such are sufficient to fund eight grand soul records... We're in the wrong fookin business!

  12. Worth about a ton in decent nick.
  13. Just one. Pyramid.
  14. C.O.D's - She's Fire Rita Dacosta - Don't Bring Me Down Four Chaps - Will Ya Or Won't Ya
  15. A week left.
  16. You do know this section is 'All About The SOUL' ....
  17. £5174.00
  18. Nigel Martin lived here in Bishop's Stortford once and he invited me to go through his records. I don't recall seeing anything on AWAKE, but to be fair, I didn't know my arse from my elbow NS wise in those days as it was 1983 and I was 17.
  19. Did a 'threads thread' about NS fashions etc many years ago.
  20. Simsy posted a post in a topic in All About the SOUL
Sad news, rest in peace Herb.

Reminds me of being 17. Still quite fond, though not very soul.
  22. As always a record is worth what you are prepared to pay for it. Got to be 10k plus with that amount of time left? If only we had more dough eh soul source?
  23. I'd say around 75/80 for the Demo and about a ton to 120 for the issue if they're both really clean.
  24. Some would say yes, but as it's unreleased it's a bit of a free for all in a low grade chancerish way.
