Ok I'm showing my age The chorus kills it dead for me, really spoils it....I remember it from the Dome too but it was around long before then. Still think it was just a case of Dj's slowly running out of ideas for something fresh, every tune has its day eventually.

The reason it didn't take off in the mid 80's is because this is rubbish compared to some of the stuff that was being discovered back then. As stuff started to dry up this was bound to have its day. Agree with you the chorus just kills it.

Please share them Kev, no reason for anyone to begin slagging anyone on this topic, it is a fascinating read. If it is kept to Simon and the stories and myths surrounding him then no reason for any slagging off of anyone. I've enjoyed reading the stories from all those who knew him.

I can't even remember the record Richard. I'll have a dig round see if I can find a listen anywhere. Apparently the recording studio (on M-S228) is/was under the Pampa Lanes Bowling Alley, Van Dyke in Warren, Jim Bruzzese was the owner.
