Am I A Dinosaur
oldies vs. newies part 167 seriously though do what you want, nowt to do with anyone else. As long as you enjoy it that is all that matters. But a question, back in the day (as they say) the scene was based on new sounds week in week out. Now I know there ain't the quantity there was back then (and not always the quality) but there are some great new sounds discovered over the years ignored by many who prefer to go out and be in the same comfort zone week in week out, why? If you left the scene and went clubbing did you listen to the same top 40 for years and years? Did you have certain radio shows you listened to that played the same playlist over and over? I love me oldies but I'd be bored sh*tless listening to the same old same from the same old same DJ's you get in many areas week in week out. Why do you wanna keep hearing the same records you heard when you were a gangly lad all them years ago?

are your java/flash whatever up to date? Playing fine here and been at Andy's and play fine there as well.

Melvin Davis And Steve Mancha, I Need My Baby
I think alot of the unissued Groovesville stuff played on the scene before MK and TB got the master tapes, Rob Marriott was playing some of them maybe late 80's deffo early 90's.

I presume it's Chicago, think it is a red label, where's Boba when you need him.

"2 Known Copies"
all depends how the phrase is used. Obviously in respect to the listing it is a load of bollocks but if you talk about Kell Osborne on Highland as being a 2 "known" copy record then it's fully justified cause as far as I'm aware and anyone else for that matter there are just the two "known" copies. Doesn't mean there aren't more out there thats why the word "known" is used, just means no more discovered or known about amongst collecters and dealers. If you've been around records fopr 20 or 30 plus years then you do get to know these things.

Asco according to info here is maybe Miami, it does have question mark after it. Is the Detroit Street Service Inc soul? Just reading the bit round the bottom?? I've added it anyway.- Andy Dyson 45's Website

without looking, and to save me some time are the others 70's or 60's?- Melvin Davis And Steve Mancha, I Need My Baby
as good a singers Melvin Davis and Steve Mancha are, for me their version just doesn't compare to the version by Jackie Beavers and if honest when listening can probably see why it was left in the can. Jackie Beavers is just one of the best records to come out of Detroit, class.- Mannies Finishing Prices For Tonight?
One on SS this week for a ton. And I bet if the buyer asked he'd get one most weeks. Soul Bros Inc. a bit crazy as well. But I suppose as long as the buyer is happy- Mannies Finishing Prices For Tonight?
