  2. SANDRA WRIGHT: Midnight Affair / Wounded Woman (TRA 3201) SANDRA WRIGHT: Please Don't Say Goodbye / Lovin' You, Lovin' Me (TRA 3220)
  3. Southern Star Records, the label on which Doug Parkinson's version was released, somehow confused the composers of the Spinner's tune with a tune of the exact same title written by Chuck Jackson and Marvin Yancey and recorded by the group Midwest Franchise on MCA Records.
  4. John, although Soul Source is easily the world's number one website destination for information on all things Soul, one would be amazed how many serious record collectors (of soul) there are out there who are completely unaware of its existence. And it's also unfortunate that a language barrier has always existed with our Japanese counterparts as there is no doubt they would be able to provide the rest of the world with a wealth of information on so many subjects concerning soul music. As you say let's hope someone on the net spots this discussion and comes up with something positive confirming the LP's existence.

  15. Just need to make a point of correction here: the "scene" in Australia was started in Sydney in '79/80 by Australians born in Australia ...
  16. If you mean Sam Moore's " Give You Plenty Lovin' " on Atlantic, it most definitely exists ... and two issues of it, pressed at different plants.
  17. Lifestyle 45 release number is listed on Sir Shambling's web site: https://www.sirshambling.com/artists_2012/L/lifestyle/index.php
