If you're worried about your needle, try gluing it but with the right hand side of the crack very slightly higher. So as you play it the needle is always bumping down over the crack. And not upwards, otherwise you will knacker your needle...

Err, I was actually the first person to reply to the topic - before someone else mentioned the 45 existing. But then the topics got merged, making it LOOK like I was merely bandwagon jumping. When, in actual fact, I was "trending". So, despite my post appearing after yours requesting the 45, it was in fact posted earlier, technically putting me at the front of the virtual queue for the 7". It's of very little consequence, however. I've been looking for one for about 8 years and it's exceptionally rare. Not massively sought after, but the handful of people who want it REALLY want it. And just to prove I know what I'm banging on about, it came in a tidy picture sleeve, like a mini version of the album. The album is hard to find in nice shape, since the cover is a flimsy card gatefold - but £50 would get you a nice one.

Anyone got a copy of the 45 they wanna sell ME?

What's M+ is that actually better than mint?

Hi all! Looking for Sugarpie deSanto and Etta James "In The Basement". Missed the copy on Rob Messer's list and missed the one on ebay. Should be about £20, right. But aren't they always the tricky ones. Any help much appreciated. Has to be a nice clean copy... Ta! SORTED... I LOVE THIS FORUM!!!

Have you tried www.parcel2go.com - they're like a courier broker site. I was looking to send a box of 150 45s to Japan and Fedex quoted £130 or something. Went on parcel2go and the price for Fedex (a superior faster service) they quoted was £60 odd. It's mad, why can't companies just give you the best price instead of a middleman getting a better price PLUS they're getting a cut too? Insurance, gas, electricity, phones, all of them... does my nut in.
