    Yes mate he recorded loads on the Preview label, by himself and also with the Raindrops also recorded alot with him on the one side and somebody else on the other. I think he was primarily known as a poet or something, perhaps a Craig Charles type character and perhaps was the reason that the Preview label existed.

    Hi Kev Thanks for the reply, doesn't the boot look exactly the same as the one on John's? This phantom 'powder blue' one I think I saw looked proper if you know what I mean may have been vinyl even. I've got 2 what I thought are bootlegs that look like the one on John's hence why I was asking.

    Hello Can anybody tell me how to spot an original of this please? as opposed to the bootleg. For some reason I remember seeing one on a powder blue label, this would be 30 years ago .... is this a figment of my imagination or has anybody ever seen one ..... demo perhaps? Ta

    There was a copy on a list on here over the weekend that was snapped up in minutes at £95. I thought it was well cheap and what a lucky chap the person who got it was, perhaps not so lucky now?

    Hello I know that the original issue is the red label and the re-issue is the blue label. Is there anymore issues/bootlegs to be aware of and is there a demo possibly white label? Thanks

    Was surprised to hear that the B'side of this record is a cover, or is it the original version? of the Tony Orlando hit 'Tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree' but what really shocked me is that it was written by Ian Levine & Tim Brown
