i was thinking the same as you about vocals. but when i played it out off the lp,i always wished vocals was a bit louder over the backing. pity its gone,would of punted on it.

we all love the music on here,male & female. i was hooked from day one. was also in scooter scene for over 15years,also male dominated. im male(no smart replys please) so cant give you the answer your looking for. im sure most of the risque comments.were from people thinking they are funny or trying to be smart,me included.im sure no harm was ment. but i thought this topic was about why more men on the scence(has also been the odd cross-dresser,cant leave him/her out) it now seems race & colour has been added now. whats next to be in the topic.....oldies/newies northern/modern 60s/70s boots/original. then youll see offensive comments :lol: ps. every human starts its life as a woman(dont quote me on that,might of watched to many QI programmes).so maybe just a coincidence that some of those who ended up male,got the soul gene aswell.or you could say the scene is all woman,but most of us look like men. just a bit of light harted humour from me for a sunday morning.no lynch mob @ my door needed.

i had 3 copies & sold them for £15 each. they wouldnt pay anymore cause wasnt getting played or in demand @ the time,lol.

the boom boom version has a backing sound like lazer guns from star wars,the other dosn't. ive had both & like the none boom boom better,lol.

must of been some kind of following or market for the music style we love. 90% of what we listen to was artists trying to break into that market. i do think most never got past local intrest. the likes of say SUNDAY / AINT GOT NO PROBLEM / ALTEEN im amazed that the amount of copies you see & yet all are vg or less condition.they must of got some plays in that area then. yet when chess took it hoping to go national,it ended up harder to get & most copies are good nick,new old stock as they say. also wasnt it easy to make your own record then,so nothing to lose. imagine being a judge in the talent shows back then.id let them all into the final.the worst artist would prob win todays x-factor,lol. most artists seem to say they dont even remember making the records. i still find it amazing that the harder the 45 is to find the better it seems to be & unissued stuff even better.thats just my opinion tho. even your big uk artists like beatles,tom jones etc wanted the sound of young america,we must just have a better ear for great music. its just great music to us & now only $$$$ signs to the americans.

just think, you could spend just over a £100 with this guy & fill most dancfloor's in the country,with an hour spot. as long as nobody could see the decks,lol.
