Early start at Elton this morning 5.50am. A few new sightings including a Brown Hare ( no picture ) sorry Six Sand Martin over the Reservoir was the first of the year for me, about four or five Chiffchaff calling and a Cetti,s calling First time i,ve ever heard a Yellowhammer singing there. ( no picture ) But i managed a Male and Female Treecreeper one of them coming out of a nest hole in the Bark. Not sure which is Male or Female Plus i seen 9 Roe Deer including this Buck and Doe

Talking of Tony,s do you remember when Dave Evison, yourself and me where stood at the bar and I commented about you and Dave been Twins but separated at birth, and the look on Dave s face when I said that Martyn had ended up with the good record collection was priceless. You where obviously the younger, better looking twin.

Promoters did work together. The three main nighter promoters in the North at one time was Andy Dyson. Andy MaCabe, and the Winsford team. And we did sit down and sort out dates between us for a few years and it worked fine. Fred in answer to your statement you are wrong sorry. There is no reason why It cant be done again. Ste

Already happening Tim with clashing, especially nighters. But you get slagged off on here for mentioning it on another thread by people who have never been involved with promoting venues so haven't got a clue what they're talking about.
