  1. As nice as it is. Get some bushes and shrubs planted for the birds . Steve
  2. Dave Rimmer 60th nighter was my last. Next one is Swinton on Saturday. Still a nighter person really Steve
  3. WOW. Osprey are stunning. You see them just round the corner from Warton crag when they're fishing at RSPB Leighton moss. They nest just across the estuary at foulshaw moss nature reserve,
  4. The Ravens normally nest in the far corner about 50/60 yards into the quarry on the right as you stand at the fence . You can normally hear them kronking, Peregrine falcons should still be there if they have nested this year. Ticks never used to be a problem up there as far as I'm aware but I tend to spend more time up there in the winter so maybe they're not as bad then. Steve
  5. Spent many a hour up there. Peregrine falcons and Ravens nest in the quarry. Very peaceful place for walking miles with hardly ever seeing anyone else Steve
  6. Was this taken from Warton crag ? Lovely view of the bay and the RSPB Eric Morecambe hides and lagoons

  9. Trentham Gardens. Dells in concert one of the greatest nights in UK soul music history. It was a privilege to be there. Thanks Chuck for your contribution to the sound track of my life now sleep well and rest in peace Steve
  10. I used to play it out at various nighters . Middleton, Sheridans. Winsford. Morecambe, Bretby, Leicester, Rugby , countless soul nights and always to a great reaction. Steve

  12. Load of copies.!!! Bet they're mostly boots. Can't remember the last time I saw one for sale. Steve
  13. It really is rare on the original. Think I paid £120 for it about 15 years ago . So the price in today's market isn't that inflated . Good luck with the search Steve
  14. Casino memories. I was lucky enough to own a original. I consider it a hard / rare record . but the Soul police would consider it white pop crap. If you where there you would understand. Steve
  15. Patrenell Staten. Mello Souls My record collection back ( More than three ) Steve
  16. A pair of Mallard ducklings probably about a week old guessing by their size
  17. Sure there was a thread about four five years ago on this subject. Or was it a world without sunshine topic. But Im assuming that the difference is east and west coast press plants Great underrated record Steve

  20. The mods can move it mate. Would suggest to all about the soul rather than here in freebasing Steve
  21. Great mainly uptempo set of dancers Ian. Really enjoyed your set and the first night. Worth the two hour drive in atrocious weather Steve
  22. Me too Chris. Not only the war relevance but nearly twenty year's ago my youngest brother committed suicide and I played this when I found out, hoping that he wanted someone to find him but he really didn't. He actually left a note saying that he had gone looking for our mum who had passed away two years earlier. So as you can see its also a very personal tune. Steve
  23. Was going to post that myself Steve
  24. Very wet Male Sparrow hawk in the back garden. Taken through the kitchen window Forgot to add that the bottom picture was taken from the upstairs bedroom window hence the difference in the background
  25. It's that wolves accent you have acquired mate. 🤣🤣🤣
