  1. Also I remember the first copies Soul Bowl sold of the 45 all jumped about 3/4 way in. Don"t think anyone sent em back as you couldn"t get it anywhere else at the time. Think they were a couple of quid each. Cheers Paul
  2. Only one. very rare 12 inch version. The one that Soul Sam used to play. Think you have the releases covered in your original post although I have a nagging thought that there maybe a release on an anniversary freebie 45 from some club or another. I could well be wrong tho. Cheers Paul
  3. Stumbled accross my ECC this morning and its also 1974 Cheers Paul
  4. Remember Mr Anderson @ Soul Bowl selling ECC on lists mid 80s as "early Go Go"........ the "wee fibber" Cheers Paul
  5. Love it myself Oh and I agree the type looks well wrong Cheers Paul
  6. Soul Searchers LP is from 1974 Cheers Paul
  7. Looks dodgy to me Timmy. No music publisher name (Tunetime Music Inc BMI) as is on the styrene originals. I smell a rat ! Why it would be bootlegged I have no idea Cheers Paul
  8. Think The Soul Searchers came first but will have to check that. The Soul Searchers later became Chuck Brown and the Soul Searchers with much "Go Go " fame of course Cheers Paul
  9. Soul Shrews replied to a post in a topic in Look At Your Box
The Gems 40 quid mint Cheers Paul
  10. Indeed it does Peter, sold mine when I got the LP mid 80s Cheers Paul
  11. Yep Soul Bowl had em for a couple of quid Cheers Paul
  12. Thanks Eddie. Richard Searling I guess ? Sometimes had clues in his cover-ups like Lee Valentine producer of The Friendly People for instance. Cheers Paul
  13. Have to agree regards ahem "re-issues" that is bonkers to me. I would rather have it on CD if I can"t find/afford an original. As for high prices for more common records well that has always been the case if there is deamand. Also some of the previously common records are maybe not so common anymore ? Especially in good nick. Could be a good thread malC Cheers Paul
  14. Fantastic ! Thanks Cheers Paul
  15. There must be some Motown ones I would think ? Nice thread Mal C Cheers Paul
  16. Same but not as clear mix I believe as was informed on here a while ago. Have a listen to the LP again soon Chris its a great way to spend an hour or so ! Cheers Paul
  17. Indeed chalky it is. But not only that it is the same recording which doesn"t qualify for this thread either, like a lot of previous posts as you have also pointed out. Cheers Paul
  18. Anyone mentioned Don Thomas "Come On Train" yet ? Oh and Mistura "The Flasher " Cheeze Paul
  19. Of course there is also Dee Dee Sharp "What Kind Of Lady" wonder if its Leon Huff or Thom Bell on the keys ? Cheers Paul
  20. Gene Chandler "I Can Take Care Of Myself" and Sandra Phillips "World Without Sunshine" Cheers Paul
  21. My 1st Tommy Tate 45 bought from Soul Bowl as new release. After hearing it checked out absolutely anything by this great artist. Thanks for the music Mr Tate Cheers Paul
  22. Yep I think you"re right about the Voices and book. I don"t remember a ITB list. Think I have the Voices mags somewhere will try and find them Sunday if you don"t get sorted before. Cheers Paul
  23. Was it John Lias who did the "Voices....." one ? Thought he brought it out (or the 1st 50 ) in a book last year. There was a thread on here I seem to remember. Cheers Paul
