Well said Mr Freeman, a lovely tribute....I met Ralph at one of your great co\op nights moaning about the dj,s messing about with the sound system!! He was stood at the back next to me...I said 'it sounds great to me'...he was ' no it's all wrong' ...bless him, he never stopped moaning but he was there at the start and super knowledgeable. It was the start of a friendship, and still txt each other till the last few months before his passing, remember him playing 'The Drifters ' Pour your little heart out ' at the co/op and cleared the floor....first time I'd heard it and not sure about it... turned into a massive play!! Also heard him play 'living in the past' the flip of fireman by vala regan at a rare under played night, had massive interest as no one had listened to it😂 fab tune.....he was a one off, love him or not, he knew his stuff!! Thank you for all the chats and your lesson to me and Boff when we dj,d twice at pure soul!! Rest in soul my friend.....Rob

Mixed bag I thought. I always look and take the 20% commission off, sometimes brings them down to set sale?? Jimmy Reed about what it sells for (great record) but some very expensive😂 is Lou Price any where near that price, commission or not?? The oldies always fetch great money but you can see why the scene is like running through treacle...just my opinion...thank you...Rob

Didn't buy one for £500 M- a few years ago....would of put it on my credit card (of which I always pay off when I get the bill) but strangely told the wife and she said NO!! no idea why I mentioned it to her...normally it's a surprise😂 oh well, every record collector always have major regrets...don't really collect now so it matters not....thank you...Rob

Wow, the carstairs!! Sold mine on here maybe a couple of years ago for £150 and was pleased with that....was a fantastic copy as well, M- at worst....seems to have gone up a tad😂...thank you....Rob

I reckon if I had the money I would of bought it, slight skip or not. If a white demo comes up would buy that as well and move the issue on....all a dream of course....like you Frankie, will stick with my 70,s boot....Rob
