Why do we always have to have some 'has been' celebrity twat included in everything aired on TV these days? I'm not saying Waterman, Blackburn, Stringfellow or Almond had no input, knowledge or influence on the Northern Soul scene but would they have been included had they not been 'celebrity'? I doubt it.

What a crock of shit. Do you think the starting bid was a miss-print and it should have been $1.80 stating bid. I saw the Blow Fly does Disco album recently for £20.00 which is far superior ( the Frankie Valley Swear to God/Spread Your Cheeks is a classic!) but again not the sort of thing you'd play anywhere other than home.

Got to say this thread has been a belter and has turned me on to more great tunes than I can say. I've been into soul all my life and it's a constant learning curve and it's great to know there's always always something new to discover, even if its fifty years old!
