Just knocked up a quick animation from the 28 frames I caught as he turned for home overhead ... Generally they just fly by straight and level so the timing was a tad lucky today ... P.S The thumbnail's a shot I snatched earlier , unfortunately he wasn't as close this afternoon ...

Here are a few shots I took of the two Lancasters together in the sky from Little Gransden Airshow back in August 2014 ...

Am I missing something ... ? That's a Hercules. You'd need a slightly longer focal length to see two Lancasters in the air as there are only two flying examples in the world and "Vera" is in Hamilton , Ontario ... she and our own BBMF Lanc haven't been in the air together since 2014.

Well I've seen some rather questionable descriptions on John's site in the past but the way he's bigging-up the weak Session Two recording is the best yet. It sits at £2800+ at present and lawd knows where it'll end , there must be some desperate folk out there , the issue's 'only' about £1600-2000 now surely. Might start thinking about letting my Session One Take One 8" acetate go at this rate , it's a much better ballsier cut ... No problem whatsoever , I just find it strange that folk get surprised when they hear their precious tunes outside of the setting they usually hear then in , as if they have some sort of exclusive hold over the records/tunes like some kind of secret caretakers ...
