  15. Hi Nick thanks so much - just what I was looking for. It’s thrown up a few earlier pics I wasn’t aware of but also confirmed there weren’t that many. Well worth collecting although I’ll miss out Debbie Dean I think... and most of the later ones. Great 👍
  16. Hi. I’ve collected these singles on Tamla, Motown, Gordy and Soul and have most of them I think. However I don’t have a list and can’t find one easily without searching by each artist. Even Sharon Davis Motown The History which has a great discography does not mention the pic sleeves. So can anyone guide me to a list please. Also if anyone knows approx how many were issued of each that would be useful. Some seem to be common but some (eg Jr Walker soul 35008 Shotgun/Hot Cha) are rarely seen. None however seem to be too expensive and some great pics like this one.
  17. One here just in case you’ve not seen it. Nice modern soul. https://www.discogs.com/sell/release/9914344?ev=rb

  20. Yes you’re right Wheelsville. I think it was 1966 or possibly sometime in 67 that Polydor stopped A demo copies, but even before then they did limited numbers hence all rare. PT
  21. This is one of those brilliant niter records that doesn’t necessarily suit itself to a club soul night. I always have it IMB when DJing in case it gets requested but it hasn’t for years - on the other hand it’s one of those I play at home to people who say put on a recommended NS record. It generally blows them away and sometimes into astonishment as it’s so different and powerful. When the trumpets come in right at the end - WOW. On pricing don’t know but it is one of the greatest.
