The Debonaires - Interviews with Elsie & Diane
Graham, you are creating history and it's amazing that you are doing it for all of us, for free, and I thank you, a refreshing change in a greedy world.

Motown label ?
That is the image I posted at the start of the thread and thanks for confirming it's not an import and IMHO I do not believe that any UK Press would be missing the info discussed and then use USA numbers, so I am starting to lean more to an Asian bootleg release, something is amiss (whatever the submitter on Discogs listed, like me, they can be wrong)
-
Motown label ?
Thanks, I don't understand why it would be reissued on the label I posted unless it is a US import into the UK ? I am beginning to think it's even possibly an Asian bootleg LP, it's just a really odd pressing for a UK one with US numbers (Catalogue and Matrix), but no P or C / Printer on sleeve etc
-
Motown label ?
Thanks Karl. I am trying to establish if it's UK, as it states on Discogs, as the submitters can't be bothered to confirm and thought (with the better knowledge on here I might get some help as it looks odd for a UK release as I am sure you will agree, hopefully)

R&B 45 by Johnny Oliver. Sweet Sugar b/w is it me Value?
The Cat number you quoted is different and maybe this is why it's not helping you in your search

96 Tears - difference between origional and boot.
Boot has tiles etched in matrix runout on the Demo. Not sure the styrene issue has been booted

Buying From Europe
I do wonder if they actually know what they are doing or just making up as they go along. Absolutely make a claim for the VAT back (I wonder why Paypal were ditched ? maybe for this and other reasons) I think it depends who from Andy Ebay, Discogs or private. There are different rules

And The Echoes - I've Always Wanted Someone Like You
Searching around a bit I think the groups "may" be different EJ and The Echoes may have been the following E.J. Gronda (vocals, guitar), Bobby Genigeski (guitar, bass), Ron Richards (drums), Joe Doyle (bass), Manuel B. Holcolm (lead vocals, keyboards, 1965-70) Image is EJ

Catacombs stamped records
Discogs have the record as 1976 and the club ran until 1975 ? Also it says a Simon Soussan "legit" re-issue (there's a thing to behold.....imagine)
-
Catacombs stamped records
This may be of no help, but mentions some of the people who "may" know and Ted Massey might ? https://bethanackerley.com/2019/01/14/the-death-of-the-cats-northern-soul-wolverhampton-catacombs/

Danny Monday-Redbone.
Agree 100% and it was only when I spotted Manship (as he sometimes does) concluding stuff, that I started digging. I have absolutely no doubt that he will now claim he knew about it years ago as he did with my solving of who "Cajun Hart" was.....cheeky

Who would I trust?...
Instead of going to a dealer, why not go on Facebook and join the group selling "Northern Soul" and ask for values. It seems that's what a lot do now to sell their records (by asking for values and selling)
