Picture a world with no more soul events
Logically until schools, shops, sports etc have no social distancing, then venues will not be able to run surley You may be waiting I think until well into 2021

James Phelps - Love Is A Five Letter Word.
What a fantastic question and I don't know if we will ever know The label changed to Chess the same year 1965 as I think they were under threat from the UK Argo label The LP labels were just as varied There were at least 8 different variations of the single, including an orange and yellow one as well (Bootlegs)

US Postal Service COVID-19 Restrictions
This is not US related but felt worth mentioning I have sold over 20000 records on Discogs with 99.9% positive feedback (I Know, not bad eh) 19th May sent a £1.99 reggae 12" to Yardley in Birmingham 2nd class signed for (Customer had tracking link) Tracking shows no attempted delivery as yet and I asked if the customer could be a little patient with current situation This feedback was issued today 31st May Negative "Paid in full via PayPal still awaiting Do not use check my purchase rating Fraud star avoid disappointment Don't use this Bell" Don't you just love it and some folks attitude in a crisis. He was either drunk, can't spell or perhaps meant Freddie Star (RIP)

US Postal Service COVID-19 Restrictions
Sorry I missed F&F bit, so not covered, however I have been on Discogs for nearly 10 years and I can assure you that a seller accepting deals "outside" of Discogs is breaking the rules (they will get removed from selling, if reported). I get asked lots and tell buyers to talk a walk into the park. Why do people selling / buying stuff want to bend the system, I guess 3 reasons "price" "fees" and people like to bend any rules they can 😀😇

News: Who are the Great Soul Deejays?
Some of the best tunes I ever heard were played by Dee Jays when I was younger and to be honest I didn't even know who they were and never will (most of the time they couldn't use a mic properly anyway) A couple of names I do remember just are Tony Clayton (we won't go there !!!) and Nev Wherry (RIP) It was always about the tunes for me and Ego's can be left well on one side for me Rob Smith all ways used to make me laugh with his carrier bags full of records (can't remember him using a box)

BBC1 Our Lives - Soul Boy - Northern Soul Related Documentary
My wife and I enjoyed the programme very much and our favourite bits were seeing Blackpool (obvs) I was a little disappointed in some of the soundtrack, but enjoyed Anthony's enthusiasm and story. If anything encourages the young to take over the baton for the future, then so be it and we can all RIP one day, knowing that the "scene" will continue in some shape or form. The scene I knew was "sometimes" a little unwelcoming to newcomers and this proves that there is at least a push to do so, I have already noticed the comments on FB asking for "how to dance" lessons. It made us smile and a big hats off to everyone involved.

Connections with a mystery ending.
Sadly (you may already know) Fred died in 1996 aged 60 and there are a couple of articles in Baltimore papers that do not give access in Europe (Google them by his name Fred 'Rockin Robin' Robinson Baltimore Sun and NY Times ) I just wondered if there was mention of any family members who may help Nice article about Stan here https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=KgkEAAAAMBAJ&pg=PA22&lpg=PA22&dq=Stan+Lewis,+Su-Ma,+Paula&source=bl&ots=HMSJuM-ff4&sig=ACfU3U2YWr4-WRIALgrGS-42cm2Os-W2kA&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjTnIuSxdTpAhXHEcAKHSWfBuIQ6AEwAXoECAcQAQ#v=onepage&q=Stan Lewis%2C Su-Ma%2C Paula&f=false

Start of Soul Events after Lockdown
This from 2 days ago The UK Home Office shared the 60-page document Our Plan To Rebuild on May 11th. It includes a three-step plan for phasing out the UK lockdown, with the first in action from the 11th, the second tentatively starting no earlier than June 1st, and the third potentially beginning on July 4th. Pubs and restaurants, under the category of "food-service providers," are planned to partially reopen in that third stage. However, it also states, "Some venues which are, by design, crowded and where it may prove difficult to enact distancing may still not be able to reopen safely at this point, or may be able to open safely only in part." Nightclubs are only mentioned once: "While reopening outdoor spaces and activities (subject to continued social distancing) comes earlier in the roadmap because the risk of transmission outdoors is significantly lower, it is likely that reopening indoor public spaces and leisure facilities (such as gyms and cinemas), premises whose core purpose is social interaction (such as nightclubs), venues that attract large crowds (like sports stadia), and personal care establishments where close contact is inherent (like beauty salons) may only be fully possible significantly later depending on the reduction in numbers of infections." I assume nightclubs refers to all "type" venues

Start of Soul Events after Lockdown
It makes sense that it will only Start happening when pubs and night clubs open and thankfully I gave up going 8 years ago and therefore don't miss it, but I feel for the ones that do

Mike & Ike?
This is on The Pittsburg Music History site Q was comprised of Cannonsburg native Bill Thomas on keyboards and vocals, New Brighton songwriter Robert "Pecky" Peckman on bass and vocals, New Sewickly guitarist/recording engineer Don Garvin, and Bellevue drummer Bill Vogel. Bill Thomas founded a band with his singer partner Suzanne calling it Suzanne & Co. Bill’s wife Judy replaced Suzzane when she left. Veteran musicians Robert Peckman, Don Garvin, and Bill Vogel joined Suzanne & Company. Peckman, before joining the band, had performed as a bassist, drummer, and singer with the Starliners (1962-63), The Skyliners (1964-'66), Johnny Daye ('66 to '67), The Groove-U in 1967, and The Jaggerz ('70-''71). Peckman's voice was heard as the lead singer on song "Ya Ya" by covered Mike and Ike on Acrtic Records in 1965 and on the Sparkz 1966 Bell Records single

Cajun Hart IS The Pink Panther
Do you think you were being a bit harsh on 4th Funiest on this site ?, don't you think it was worth researching the singer after what 40 years of the tune being played, I first heard it at Cleethorpes and no one knew who he was, or even bothered until now

Cajun Hart IS The Pink Panther
It's just a guess but it could be cowboy related Cajun being popular in country music It has been a noose round my neck trying to find out about him though 🤠
