  1. Not keen on either but MLIR is the better side IMO.
  2. £482 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Northern-Soul-45-Herbert-Hunter-I-Was-Born-To-Love-You-Spar-mp3-/313262209295?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&nma=true&si=O8hpnUzbRShMlYJyVV25FKVA2Zo%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc £440 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Northern-Soul-45-Herbert-Hunter-I-Was-Born-To-Love-You-Spar-mp3/383685426170?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 Both from Carolinasoul but look to be same record so maybe bid for £440 not honoured back in September ?
  3. Yep, you do have to wonder sometimes who exactly is bidding for some of those records that appear in the auction.
  4. I disagree. Think it would have made the grade anytime in last 45 years. Reminds me somewhat of that Earnestine Eady on Phil L A except this cut has more of a tune/melody and nice female and male backing vocals.
  5. You should get a discount for bulk !
  6. Yes I have noticed his feedback on eBay and have been put off a couple of album purchases. I did get that mintish Barbara Mills on UK Hickory off him for $100 around 4 months back so I guess odd bargain or decent price does turn up.
  7. To be fair his VG+ is more Ex to M- in my experience. He states that in his ads where he explains his grading.
  8. Yes of course. Done my research and I have £7.3s. 6d available so won't be bidding. I was just struck that an "unknown Northern" on eBay is actually good for a change. Usually abysmal.
  9. That's what I thought too. I've still not got the hang of programming the VCR.
  10. Beyond my pay grade but did think somewhat Detroity but then kinda like Irma & Fascinators "You need love". Not got a clue.

  12. Just now Danny Wagner demo at VG [but looks OK] for $1.50 US eBay Buy-it-Now.
  13. Going off writer. Seems Charron worked with BJ Thomas.
  14. Not great is it though I now realise that Chuck's version is a cover of B.J. Thomas which I didn't know before.
  15. Different song
  16. Judging from the number of VG and VG- 45s I've noticed going through US eBay for not inconsiderable amounts recently, the guy should soon be inundated with work and will be opening a chain of outlets if it carries on.
  17. Finished at £1450 but only 2 bidders at that. Other 3 around £1000
  18. Guess you saw USA eBay copy. There were five bidders prepared to pay £1000 and up so there's a starting figure.
  19. I'm actually listening to it for first time now. I think it's OK so far though I have just got to R. Dean Taylor which is poor and a waste of a backing track.
  20. No. If someone buys something off me I feel it's my responsibility to make sure it gets to the PO and that I get a receipt showing recorded delivery # when I hand the package over.
  21. Depends on condition but a minter £200? Everything I buy off USA eBay I consider a bargain in that much cheaper than I'd pay here. Maybe 3 months ago I was looking through eBay Buy-it-now and came across Barbara Mills on UK Hickory. $100. Mint. Sold it to a mate for £350. Craig Moerer's list !
