Alex Jones and I went to a "Dusties" do in Chicago in the 90's. Just me and him and maybe 300 Black people. I'd say Elaine would contest that as her film was dedicated to Fran. And I remember Fran saying on camera how welcome she felt on the scene compared to her experience off it. We all know the reasons why there are few Black people on the scene and it's nowt to do with racism IMO. And yes Jamie I doubt there's a subject the Guardian could understand when it comes down to the White working class without portraying us as Neanderthals, unless of course it was in the pursuit of votes. Please PM to reserve I'd say most of UK 45s are VG++ [EX] in that marks are hard to spot . Some are nearly Mint. VG+ means you can see marks but they're usually few and light. Don't mind doing scans and of course anyone not happy can return. Look nice to me though. VG+ US copies are also nice condition with just a few marks. Thanks ROD

Value-wise I'd guess £25-ish to a Motown collector if mintish condition. Not that rare. I have a copy so not trying to talk it down ! ROD

The seller got back to you as soon as you informed him ? I send you a package with clear sellotape and no 45. Where is the 45 you ask ? My reply is it was in there. Has it been tampered with ? I only use brown tape. ROD

Actually Nev the link from you in post #7 is not quite referring to posts of "PM'd you". Whilst PM'd you does "bump" the ad to top of Soul Market page I allow it because of what MarkW said re informing sellers who may not look at PMs. Get a few complaints about that along lines of PM'd but seller/buyer not read. Your link is more to do with unwanted comments such as appearing to have a couple of 45s available that actually aren't available. Those as you may have noticed I remove. ROD

I've said before that if you respond to a want and don't get a reply within 7 days then leave a negative in feedback. Anyone commenting on here done that ? I don't know if this is widespread or the same few members but we won't know unless members use feedback. ROD
