  1. its possible....never seen or had one that jumped though
  2. not sure 1979 i think......i think richard played it end of 1980 but was playing it for a while..i have a tape of him playing it in 82 john had the long matrix first then some shorter ones....the longer matrix was always in his guides as the 1st issue. trouble is when new releases are played theres still a chance for them to be repressed by the label owners if found early enough
  3. john manship told me that when this was first played ( richard s i assume) he had a dozen long matrix copies..... the shorter ones turned up a little later
  4. i think theres something like 2 years between the pressing runs and the second lot wouldnt have been done if not for the uk rare soul scene...............just an opinion mind.but it makes a lot of difference to some
  5. the longer matrix is original. i thought that the shorter matrix jesse butler pressed them again when contacted later after plays on the northern soul scene
  6. but unreleased.......simples
  7. just a white issue and yes only worth £10/15 tops. with p/s......£25 on uk issue or at least thats what i sold mine for recently ..but what a record
  8. released in germany and holland in early 75..then released in france in the spring of 76. no uk or usa 45 only on the lp. i think the lp version is exactly the same as the 45..not extended or remixed or owt like that from memory
  9. german and dutch release from 75 then released in france in 76. no uk or usa copy only on the lp
  10. i had a spare step by step ..coulda sold it 10 times over
  11. that horace copy came out a while after the 100 club giveaway..i think it had barbara lewis stars on the flip. i heard the 100 club kent 45 was made up from a few unfinished takes on a master tape but dont know if this is correct
  12. if you have available funds but a lot dont
  13. i`m doubly shocked  on two label designs if i think on.. one rare couloured thing and a plain yellow/orange one which is commoner about £125 but has gone for more as fashion dictates...a great 2 sider
  14. does that make them bootlegs then pete if john ritson knew nothing about them...i`m only joking of course but the soul police might take a dim veiw
  15. he seems paranoid if he fears gettin ripped off over something he knows nothin about.. he should invest in a price guide at least before listing anything or just let things ride and be done with
  16. bad move lol
  17. had one on a list yesterday £50. will johnson decibel records...........................................for the record both versions are rubbish imo
  18. i thought the reason was him being a complete idiot roger. hope you are well buddy
  19. a sad day indeed...saw them in mexborough some years ago. R.I.P lillian
  20. agree on billy proctor..should be played more
  21. karaoke version of ron keith
  22. in all honesty pete i would say 10 times rarer than london darrell banks
  23. i would have wanted an original 60`s detroit acetate for that price ....... the neo experience did good.. sold mine for £60 last year
  24. who ever bought that expensive copy must be having kittens right now
  25. i bought one from geoff buckley for £25.....gave it away to saus and wendy ( saus birthday) as i thought their need was greater than mine
