it was a decent seller on clintone as well.got good distribution by atlantic. quality 45 tho. why it dont sell for more on the bay..... not sure, perhaps the majority still dont know it ? dave

i `m finding the northern soul scene on the whole a struggle these days. all these big tunes, joseph webster,parliaments rainy day, man of my word are half decent at best.............dont get me started on the zu zu band or tommy dent...........f**kin terrible imo dave

ORIG TONY IS AS YOU STATE WITH THE COLOURED LOGO ON STYRENE. THE PLAIN LOGO ON VINYL I THINK WAS DONE AFTER PLAYS ON THE NORTHERN SCENE. SO AS FAR AS IT GOES NOT ORIGINAL AND WOULD NOT EXIST IF IT WERE NOT FOR OUR SCENE BUT I THINK THEY ARE LEGIT IN THE SAME WAY AS THE PINK CARSTAIRS ARE LEGIT. DAVE

we`ve determined there`s two original copies and they sell for decent money.`nashville matrix with/ without M terry credit. and theres a counterfeit wth black text and logo. is the unstamped `original looking`copy that pete smith and JM seen on 90`s style vinyl or is it the same as the 60`s orig without the stamp dave

if you`re thinkin of selling a copy, ebay might be the best bet as its a specialist item although as prices vary from £50 to £300 be prepared for one price or the other dave

it has had a few plays over the years and was even on our 1st anniversary cd from the horse and groom sunday chillout. it reached no 3 on the us charts in the spring of 1968 and got a uk release on atlantic. either way its a great summery pop song dave

i had a yellow one up until recently and to be honest its one of those 45s that i kept for years to pull it out of the sleeve, play it , say to myself, you know something dave its crap that. then pop it in its sleeve and file it. this happened untill recently but instead of filing it, i found myself putting it on ebay................................ it made £7.......... oh the joy lol. perhaps if the label had been blue it might have made me £70. the moral of my story tho is its a crap record whatever label colour. dave on leave from the horse and groom 20th june doncaster
