Very, very sad news. I knew he'd had health problems but he never talked much about it. A veritable genius and a smashing bloke.I wrote a small article on him some years ago for the fanzine Soul Up North. RIP Arthur- ART FREEMAN SLIPPIN' AROUND
I stand corrected, I did a quick check and it looks like Donald has sold about 4 or 5 (or has for sale) last week. Just found that thread where I say "disputable" it's called "Dodgy Dealings?" started by Pete Smith. Here's link : /forums/topic/299530-dodgy-dealings/#comment-2001569 What I should have said and meant to, was "not disputable" then the sentence makes sense. Perhaps you could tell me where I "had a go at him", whatever that means.- Another Classic Poster
Can anyone put a likely date on this poster ?- ART FREEMAN SLIPPIN' AROUND
That seller has a whole box full, he's been selling them for years in dribs & drabs, he also used to have a gaggle of James Barnetts, don't see him selling those anymore though.- He who dares...... Making an unplayable record come to life
Well done ! never underestimate the ingenuity of the soul fan I do believe there's a company in Holland that does flatten records, albeit at owners risk. You're right don't even think about it with styrene. Good luck.- more boot madness
Looking at it, it's one of those 1970s pressing, quite tough to tell from an original (width of run-out). They usually go for about £30.00, suspect a pop-up DJ wanted it for his next gig.- ART FREEMAN SLIPPIN' AROUND

Depending on condition £140 - 170 how many do you have ?- Show Us Your Great Photos - Pt2
I took these about + - 10 years ago. This is the old racing (road) circuit at Reims in France. Incredibly you could just drive the circuit being on a public road. The racing scene just upped sticks and left and the whole thing just left there to rot. Historically important this is where the very 1st Brit ever won a Grand Prix. I understand it has been refurbished and they hold classic car events there.- Racism at NS venues; did/does it happen
Sounds like an off the cuff - chip on your shoulder comment and should be ignored. Sure the very early NS scene was white as they made up about 99+% of the population. In London where I lived most if not all blacks were into Reggae and Asians didn't really participate in pop culture. I never ever heard of a racist incident or remark ever that I can think of, everybody was welcome, even us Londoners.- Comedy Sale Of The Day
