  1. Got 18 definites and one possible so far.
  2. Steady there Mr T, not everyone's mind has those dark warped places. btw, are you going to Essence?
  3. Okay, got 17 participants so far, so its filling up fast. If you fancy some fun pm me your details.
  4. Dave, Probably a max of 20/25 people for this one, depending on interest. 26 people did the last one and more than that makes it a bit pricy on postage, even if you’re a cheapskate like me who sends them 2nd class. Got 12 people interested so far.
  5. Oh, you are showing your age.
  6. As the Xmas & New Year celebrations become a distant memory and the harsh reality of 2013 becomes clear. What better than to blow away those New Year blues with a CD Swap. The last one was a great success with many tunes added to the wants list. So, if you fancy showing what a mighty fine collection you’ve got, highlighting your top tips for 2013 or you just fancy making the other swappers ears bleed, go on and give it a go…… All you need is to send me your contact details (real name and postal address), burn a CD of music, send it to the other recipients and wait for the CD’s to start dropping onto your doormat, it’s that easy. Numbers will be limited, so PM me with your contact details and we can get the ball rolling.
  7. It was a top 20 hit and he was also on Top Of The Pops, it must have sold shed loads...
  8. This is the most complete Guinness one I know of https://forbiddeneye.com/labels/guinness.html
  9. The original label is red, the re-press is more pink than red. The text on the original is bigger and bolder and the re-press is small and more of a modern type. They used to sell the re-pressed on their web site. A picture of the flip of the original https://www.popsike.com/Willie-Mallory-You-went-back-on-what-you-said-Lanor/370559616901.html A picture of the re-press https://www.popsike.com/rare-Soul-45-WILLIE-MALLORY-you-went-back-LANOR/310316418353.html
  10. Go for the original Demon CD, now thats a hard one to find.......
  11. It’s a shame SoulTalk no longer exists there was a shed load of stuff on there not readily available else ware on the net. Is there anyway of incorporating some of its content into Soul Source, to keep the information alive?
  12. It wasn't a minter either.
  13. Knowing the type of stuff played, which I enjoyed a lot as there were some very diverse guests. I would have thought it would have been hard to find a show sponsor as an ideal partner would have been a record dealer or shop. But that would have meant plugging their stock and I think the show moved a bit too exclusive musically to warrant that type of financial support. This is not meant to be a dig at any of the music played by the way.
  14. There's one on popsike https://www.popsike.com/7-Inch-vinyl-RicTic-San-Remo-Golden-Strings-Ric-Tic/190383364048.html
  15. I like this as well, a nice left field duet. It's very much in the same ilk as the recent Martha High & Speedometer LP, which I also like a lot too.
  16. Give Mark Merry's Soul Sermon on Starpoint a go. Full of quality contemporary soul from both new and established artists
  17. But it doesnt have the original spider, surely thats gotta knock a few quid off of the finishing price
  18. OSO - Original Spider's Only
  19. Its the same format as Otis Clay's Baby Jane/You Hurt Me For The Last Time on UK Atlantic. That also never came out in the UK with a solid centre. There were a few others too.
  20. There is a 3rd variation which is similar to the top one, but has Dial in red text rather than white, which isnt the repro and then theres the W/D
  21. Got an Atlantic release in the UK and the ones I've seen were dinked with a spider centre
  22. Looking to get my pet rabbit a Christmas present and in these times of austerity, I can only afford a cheapie. I'm looking for a M- copy of Bobby McClure - Doing It Right On Time/She's Miss Wonderful - HI 2321 (Issue only). Please pm me with your fixed price and please no request for an offer. Got one now
  23. What's quite odd about Happy Days being released twice is that, it's the official B-Side on both release #145 and #180. So did they use Happy Days on release #180, just to get the Magictones releases to a required quota and then get shot of the group as they left Westbound after this release?
  24. Kev, Are you sure your not mixing this with the Superlatives - Lonely In A Crowd, which was the previous Westbound release which has the details you mention. That one Lonely In A Crowd was also released on the Dynamics label (just to clarify).
  25. 1054 - Robin Wilson - Better Use Your Head / Walk Away. Dont know it the one with Bitter Honey on the flip got an official release
