File that pic alongside that one of the cracked Gwen Owens that was posted on here. I don't want to look but I can't help it......

Harvey Averne Dozen
Still think Hector Riviera's 'Chance For Romance' is the very best latin dancer, (and very tough to find) closely followed by this and Tony Middleton 'Return To Spanish Harlem'/ 'Already Satisfied' on Speed. Is the other Harvey Averne mentioned on Uptite or Fania?

Wanted : Lee Fields On Angle 3
I've been looking for a copy of this for about four years now and still haven't found one. And now it will be silly money I'd imagine due to its recent exposure.

Perlean Gray - I Don't Want To Cry - Green Sea
Can anyone help at all...... I have this on the dark green moulded over vinyl with scratched in numbers and dodgy looking stamp mark.....checked out JM's guide which confirmed that its a boot...but the guide also says that there are Chicago originals that look the same....does this include the numbers and stamp being the same on those originals (ie. scratched in ect)? Now I'm not sure if its a boot or not! I got it from a very reputable dealer and just want to check the authenticity.... Any help greatly appreciated.... Ta

Fantastics Me And You
Superb record, love the mariachi intro. Can't decide between this and 'Where Theres A Will' as their best record....
-
D C Magnatones
Dave Conway lists it as one of his top 5 in the back of the In-Crowd book, and at the time it states his was the only known copy...... I think its a great group soul record.

Top Tips For 2008, Look At Your Box

Oxford Nights
Think the Soul Set were a white group with black vocalists. Dave Flynn has the full sp on his site. https://capitolsoulclub.homestead.com/soulsetspecial.html I think this was the case with many of the Carolinas groups? So much excellent jazzy 60s soul from this part of the US..... Anyone know if this was also the case with The Chryslers on Je-Jody? Also Les Mack on Jokers Three?

Wants - Soul Incorporated - My Proposal
Looks like most of this Coconut Groove output is probably garage? Are the flint Flint Emeralds a black group? And are any of the others tracks any good??

Wants - Soul Incorporated - My Proposal
"I do know of two, I got one "Is It All A Bad Dream" (off ebay) and am still looking for the other one...please." Was going to say I have this one too, its not rare as far as I know....is the other track better? Lew Stanley had one of theres a few months back, not sure which one it was tho......described as a 'good group dancer'. JM has a 'Bad Dream' for £25. The flip 'You Don't Know That I Love You' is a nice tight group dancer though.

Valuations Required
Eddie Burns' Hard Hearted Woman is as good, also on Harvey.

Wayne Carter "mad Mouth Woman"
Would of thought its a little bit too jazzy for the soul scene, but strangely it never seemed to take off in mod clubs either as far as I was aware.....wasn't it a big record on the funk scene for a while?? I think its a brilliant record by the way and deserves its day somewhere! Flip is a good funk cut too.
