With all the complaints they've had I can't see them bothering with a volume 2. Unless of course they've made some good money out of the venture?

Ebay if I was you, you'd definitely get some punts on the Grapevine's and the VWVON all night long. Seen some Kent L.Ps go for £25. Is the Horace's 'Capitol Soul' the second Shrine one? must be worth a bob or two.

I only know it from the Grapevine 45. It's definitely not on the Goldmine/Soul suppl L.P that came out several years ago featuring a lot of his unissued stuff.

Soul Brother did a fine job sending mine all complete. All play through just fine. The only 2 I hadn't heard were the Four Tops and David Ruffin...what a couple of fantastic tracks!!! David Ruffin has always been one of my fave singers and this track justifies that reason, utterly superb! I removed the sticker on the front of the box and stuck it on the inside of the lid, well it was obscuring the Tops and Miss Weston! Anyone else remove the sticker?

No, they KNOW what anoraks we are, they knew we would spot the number gaps. Numbers 4 + 5 will appear in box 2 as you say.

After getting the message from Soul Brother to ask if I don't mind them opening the box first and checking, I have now received an e-mail saying that my order is complete. I guess that means the box is good to go. I await with baited breath.

I bought the Trojan 'Haunted House' Skinhead Sevens box set for £25 and I've since seen it go for 4 times that much! Reckon a good set of this Motown box will fetch a nice price in the future.

Just received a message from Laurence at Soul Brother, he's aware of the problems and asked if I mind whether they open it to check, I said that is fine. I just want a correct set.

The only demo that I know of rarer than the issue on MGM is Spyder Turner.

I have that early boot too mr.stockholm, I bet if you stuck it on ebay you'd get a good price, better than you would initially expect!
