    it's called 'Collectors Frenzy'
  5. I bought a 60's Soul (could have been Ska, I forget) LP a few months back and it had a reciept from 1967 bought in Brighton in a Tesco Supermarket (in the days they used to sell records!). Not sure which price is for the L.P though?
  6. I have that 45 'Lonely Night' on UK Island and the vocalist is Busty Brown, Pete
  7. The Hour Glass track is known on the Northern scene and I managed to get a copy of the L.P. In a recent conversation with one of the Allman brothers it was suggested that that track 'Out Of The Night' appeals to Northern Soul afficionados and he was a bit perplexed to say the least, i can't remember where I read that now? It may have been Greg's 'Hey Baby Days Of Beach Music'???
  8. It's actually 'The Blues Busters', Byron Lee & Dragonaires supplied the rhythm. ...unless of course there is an instrumental version Jimmy?
  9. boba's right...get that claim in!
  10. Mine's a white demo. Are they rarer?
  11. ...also, is Soul Master Lp original Gordy? i'm interested in that also.
  12. There's no price on the 31st Anniversary 45. I'd be interested at the right price.
  13. Rita & the Tiaras is on Destiny. First UK issue?
  14. Like that tune! Never heard it before.
  15. Manship sold one for something like £300 last year.
  16. .....and we all know how much the Majestees go's for nowadays! MUTT is definitely becoming an in-demand label.
  17. Bought a copy the same day as 'The Majestees' also on Mutt both for around £15 each from Soul Bowl in the early 90's

Turned up in the UK on one of those 'Northern Soul Story L.Ps' Volume 7. Sleeve credits say 'A Grand Prix Recording 1968'
  19. Thanks for the info Tony & Toad.
  20. Yes, Tommy Mccook on UK Rio? Toad...is my black Coxsone a re-issue then? It must be an early re-issue surely?
  21. I have it on black 'Coxsone' as the flip to Skatalites 'Ska Jam' (which actually plays wailers 'Ska Jerk'). This could be the original JA issue as it's just credited to 'The wailers'. Pretty sure 'Bob Marley &' wasn't added until later.
  22. The gold label boot is styrene, stick on label. Good sound too I'm pretty sure (unless I have an original?).
  23. Think the sound on the 'gold' Impact boot is fine.
