Any travellers northbound on the M5 tonight heading for New Century or Winsford Nighters or other points north. There are currently 2 lanes closed between J3 and J2 northbound and likely to remain closed until at least 2200hrs. Traffic is slow from J3 onwards - if you have no other alternative route to use you can come off at J3 and turn right along the Hagley Road and follow the road until you get to A4123 traffic lights then turn left and head back down to J2, will add about 10 /15 minutes to youir journey but save time queueing. Thats where I was first introduced to music in general back in 69, living about half a mile from the shop. Max introduced me to my beloved soul about a year later - though I looked too young to get in anywhere other than Mothercare back then. When I joined the RAF in 71, Max was my conduit to the tunes, only me and a guy from Derby in the whole apprentice entry that were into soul. Throughout the years Max never failed to make me feel welcome in the shop, turned me on to some amazing stuff, not only northern but jazz funk and other club tracks! Never heard him slate anyone, and can't thank him enough for his help over the years, now both Annie and I count him as a friend indeed.
