  2. I've spent a bit of time in Z¼rich over the last 2 years. It was always in the week and not weekends. And I couldn't find anything other than commercial clubs. But that could just have been me. Let me know if you do get anywhere as I might be back again later this year. Cheers

    Not really trying to split hairs but add to the debate. I can't see how you can cover something up when you don't know who it is in the first place. But agree Butch's Del Larks / Mello Souls is probably the longest.

    Think Richard Searling played it first. But was it really a cover up? Wasn't it played from an acetate which had no artist name on it anyway. Not sure who uncovered it though. So for a 'genuine' cover up where the artist was known what is the longest time.

  13. Yesteryear was just Motowns re - issue label. Simple as that As Pete states the main labels were for new product only. From memory Yeteryear started in the mid 70's for all back catalogue Motown considered worth reissuing. Probably no value in any of them as they were all big hits previously, but arguably they would be rarer that the original release.
