  1. I asked if it was a Wheel track, Bri, because I'm sure I got this when I was 14 which was 1969. Possibly assumed it was a Wheel track but straight from the horses mouth, as they say, is good enough for me.
  2. Yes Ian but was it a Wheel track?
  3. Thought this was a Wheel track?

Great record. Price subjective but top quality in my opinion.

Thanks for that. I don't often look for finished items on e-bay so I will know how to do it now.

A copy of "She's gone" was on e-bay finishing this week. Anybody know what it finished at. Ta much.
  7. Just looking through Popsike and "Don't go" on Rondo is shown as having been sold in July this year for $11,750 making it the second highest priced Northern record in their listing. I know it's a funk think but is this some form of holy grail track? Details suggest one bid only!!
  8. There was one on e-bay early this year that went for $810 - so between £500 and £600 seems about right.
  9. Great read. Some of the early stuff is angst ridden vitriol - perfect for todays scene!
  10. The Telegraph review of it summed it up perfectly for me - "It also feels oddly detached from the compelling genre of music it claims to advocate" Poor on almost every level and that is being as objective as possible.
  11. Melvin Davis on Ke Ke Willie Pickett Johnnie Praye Assume these are still rare enough to consider.
  12. Do you include the Sheldon stuff? Condors, Softiques.
  13. Good call on The Changing Scene which I have heard, Jock. So consulting Manship's guide gives us Changing Times - "A new day begins" on Boy Wonder weighing in at an impressive £2,500. I'm sure this is the one I was thinking off but definitely not heard it - has anybody else?
  14. There's a Changing Times thing isn't there thats dog rare. Never heard it myself.
  15. Precisions on Drew. Len Jewell on Teri De Timmy Carr on Kee. Would have thought these 3 would be in easily as far as rarity is concerned.
  16. Anyone mentioned Anita Baker - "The songstress"? One of my favourite albums and not just because of "No more tears"
  17. Works internet policy blocks the tracks if they are through youtube etc, so could somebody just list whats been put up,please.
  18. Possibly going to get murdered here but why are people posting as if this has just happened, unless that is what they believe Popcorn died in September 2008 although I'm not sure how this thread has been reactivated which may be why posters are giving condolences on the basis that this is a recent event.
  19. Yes, yes, yes to the Natural Four and "Young mods forgotten story" John.
  20. A sad loss nevertheless but this was from 4 years ago.
  21. Sam Dees - "The show must go on" Lamont Dozier - "Black Bach" Soul Children - "Friction" Soul Children - "Genesis" Millie Jackson - "Caught up" Millie Jackson - "Still caught up" Just off the top of my head - ought to make any top 20.
  22. Yeah but I'm pretty sure that that's not what this topic is about Tosspot. These posters are saying that there are tracks that they don't tire of hearing which I'm sure doesn't translate to wanting to hear the top 500 every time they go out. For what it's worth mine would be Wally Cox 'This man'. There you go I've said it. I await my punishment like a man.
  23. Obviously not in the right place but I guess my point is made.
