What's The Best Set You've Ever Heard?
Difficult to remember really, so many great sets, but for me so long ago, now. Memorable nights at Wigan courtesy of Richard always stand out, but I can remember equally awesome sets from him at the Pendelum. However I'd have to go with any Levine set at the Mecca following his return from his early buying trips to the States. The anticipation of what he was about to deliver as new finds was often unbelievable and he rarely disappointed. Heady days indeed!

Dennis Linde-penned Tunes Recorded By Soul Artists
Didn't Arthur Alexander record "Burning Love" first? I'm sure Linde wrote other stuff for Arthur, but Tony's right Linde wrote tons of stuff for country artists.

A.k.a.= Female Vocalists
Minnie Ripperton - Andrea Davis Ronnie Spector - Veronica Martha LaVelle - Martha Reeves (early solo apparently) Did Baby Wahington ever record as Jeanette Washington as well as Justine. Are there any recordings for Jamesetta Hawkins (Etta James) Does anybody know if Geraldine Jones and Geraldine Hunt are one and the same - doesn't seem to be any obvious connection, just something I read somewhere.
