A Few More Aussie Finds. How Did They Get Here?
The last 2 I've seen sold went for £30 & £40 Paul. Try doing a google, I bet you can't find one cheaper for sale. I think I prefer this to the Ollie Nightingale version, both superb though.

Prices Please
Surely that should be none the less, or more correctly nonetheless. Touche

Prices Please
More Marv (UA) would be about £40-£50

A Few More Aussie Finds. How Did They Get Here?
The Lynn White might be £10 on Expansion but the SOH release is much more like £30+. The Marcia Hines makes perfect sense, she is Australian I believe.

The Blue Notes - We Can Make It
Yes, LP only. "The truth has come to light" (1977 Glades). Excellent LP (both sides of the Glades 45 are on it). 7" about £10, LP about £15.

Portable Player For Crate Digging
LMAO, I genuinely thought you were pulling my leg...until.... >

Portable Player For Crate Digging
I think audiophiles might disagree there, but I suppose it doesn't make much odds when most old 45s have already been through the mill a bit I guess. PS. Fisher Price lol, are they still going, or did they go out with Ronco? >

Portable Player For Crate Digging
Aren't you all missing a salient point? It doesn't matter how robust, small, well built it is - most of these have poor quality needles and you will probably be plonking it on an a wonky table and then listening to a record. Isn't there a fair chance that you are doing a lot of harm to something you might be about to buy?

The New Sounds Lp On Turbo (Not P-Vine)
I have both the original & the P-Vine reissue, sound is pretty awful on both (common for the label).

Barrino Brothers Lp - Invictus - Why Is " Trapped In A Love " Not Included ?
No it's not.

Barrino Brothers Lp - Invictus - Why Is " Trapped In A Love " Not Included ?
Err, why should it be? There are thousands of none LP 45s out there, this is just another one. PS. Great LP though.

Why So Many Bids?
Hmm. looks dodgy to me too. Despite a feedback of 131, he has sold only 1 item in over 5 years. He mentions that old Manship bloke from the chippy again too

The Originals / Freddie Gorman - (Artist Of The Week)
Yes love "Our love has seen us through". Going way back in time, I have a soft spot for Freddie Gorman "The day will come" on Miracle.

Barbra Mason Could Sing A Bit
Yes, she had the 1 LP on Prelude "I am your woman, she is your wife" in 78

Barbra Mason Could Sing A Bit
Try the brilliant piece of Philly midtempo "If you knew him like I do" (69/70 - General American 45 & LP track). Cheaper than chips too. My favourite album would be the WMOT one "A piece of my life" 1980 , packed with great tunes. (I think Paul has the WMOT LP name wrong above)

Ronnie Mcneir & The Instant Groove
No it didn't.

Are C.d's On The Way Out ?
Well as someone who still buy an awful lot of new releases, CD or downloading is the only available format in 99% of cases. Of course for pure sound quality, analog vinyl is significantly better than any digital format (all of which approximate analogue). However that's only the case if you have a top end deck and clean vinyl.

Any Millionaires Around Look @ This On Ebay
I think you've missed George's point there. There is a vast difference between a soul fan and a soul collector. A fan buys music he likes, for the express idea of getting as much enjoyment from them as possible, with little thought of their resell value. If someone is buying stuff for the express purpose of making money, then they aren't going to have a colection tailored to their likes and it is less likley to give them as much pleasure, unless making £ is more important than the music.

Loleatta Holloway Album
You mean Gold Mind of course. Not that Goldmine wouldn't have minded putting it out ;)

Err, give us a clue then, what track?

The Mighty Ryeders - Help Us Spread The Message
Most of those high popsike values are for the original promo, but you should still get £200 or more.

The Mighty Ryeders - Help Us Spread The Message
The 1st issue was promo only and comes with KK stamped in the runout deadwax signifying the Miami pressing plant. The first run off the issue sounds like the one you (and I) have. It has SG456-A & SG456-B in the runouts along with the FULLERSOUND monica. This came out in about 81. "Evil vibrations" does not slow down. Then there were at least 2 re-issues (both with the slowed down "Evil vibrations") in the late 8s and late 9ts. Then the Luv&Hight reissue followed. Hope that helps!

Do You Ever Get Bored With Playing Your 45S, Collections ?
Never ever been bored of playing my music. I once figured out that to play it all back to back would take about 9 years of 8 hour days lol. Seriously, there's always a box full of stuff that I haven't played for years that I can pull out. The day boredom sets in is the day I'll consider my love of music is dead. Of course, the fact that new music still floats my boat is a major factor too. I still get excited by this week's new releases in the same way I did way back when. Current new favourite L.J.Reynolds version of "You sure love to ball" - brilliant!

£150 assuming ex+ or above.

Surreal Dj Requests
Lol, that's a fairly common one over the years. What's worse is when you ask them to name something they know and would like to hear, they can't! Another one I sometimes get is can you play something from the charts. I normally play some obscure 7ts thing saying "..and that made the Chicago R&B top 100 back in '73"
