Football And Northern Soul
Landed at Gatwick on BA flight back from the states. They usually put music over the air whilst everyone waits before they can get off. Was amazed when the Dynells "Call On Me" came on. Hardly the sort of soul music you'd expect BA to play is it!

‘Soul People Of Interest’
Shifty - Not on the scene anymore as a DJ anyway (but still record dealing). Before he packed it in he was respected by many as being up there with the leading DJ's on the northern scene and certainly been a big influence on my record buying . Off, or on the scene, one of the funniest, wittiest guys I've ever met

Marc & Gene, if it's the recent big list which appeared recently I thought that he'd won the lotto, or he'd come into a large inheritance

Answering Wants
I've sent quite a few pm's recently in reply to wants. The one's who don't bother to reply seem mainly to be members who haven't been around on SS for any length of time, or who haven't posted much, as opposed to the longer established members who you usually get a response from! I'd say it's only polite to respond, even if it's a "thanks but no thanks as I'm already sorted" on said want?

Salatio Shoes Official Public Launch
They may have looked cool in the 70's, (debatable?) but would you want to be seen wearing these in this day and age?
