Stylistics - Anyone?
Same as me Pete, knew about and loved these guys in the early 70,s when I was in my early teens, Russell Tompkins is an absolute legend IMO, the early to mid 70,s was a fantastic period for the Sweet Soul sound, especially the Philly, New York, New Jersey region, every other region was well represented aswell, but I reckon the East Coast was the place to be, The Dells and Dramatics might have something to say about that though, great call Pete Kev

Lowrider mix from Chris Huggins NCFC
Just back from a few days at the Lakes with the East Fife so just got around to playing this masterpiece of a mix, only knew The Compacts, High Powered Spirit Band (courtesy of Micky Gynn) Peace on Earth and Time, you already know what I think of Time and thanks again for that one, its never off the turntable here. Its hard to single out anything as it was of such high standard from start to finish, but, Onyx, The Moods, The Pacesetters and Three Flights up deserve special mention, but only just, I will play it again and pick another couple no doubt, thanks Chris, loved it

Greatest Soul Albums (70s)
Tough call on the Soul Children Mike, "Midnight Sunshine" versus "Whats Happening Baby" to be honest, its a toss up of the coin, I can't live without either, CD swap, you bet Kev
