As I am biased some what I can thoroughly recommend a night of across the board no politics Northern Soul,

We have Dancing Dicky from Mabo, Colin (Jonah) Jones from Pinxton and last but by no means least Steve (Staggs) Wilson from Mansfield as guests this month, with Neil Brooks and  Kev Greenwood resident DJ`s and all round nice guys.

And not forgetting the lovely people welcoming you on the door Linz and Jean Common and little old me, so come along and have a fab night dancing and meeting friends, see you there !

My first time on the big stage tht is NG4, what a wonderful reception & appreciation of what I was playing (see playlist below). I hope I complimented all the other DJ's who played fantastic spots. Below is my playlist for the night: -

Whose little girl are you – Danny Williams

Talkin bout ya baby – The Mighty Marvelows

Just another heartache – Little Ritchie

Don’t you care anymore – Jodi Mathis

He’s my kind of fellow – Sandy & the Pebbles

Cashin in – The Voices of East Harlem (for Linz & Jean)

What a wonderful night for love – Bobby Patterson

(Please) Take a chance on me – The Arabians

A lot of love – Taj Mahal

Take it baby – The Showmen

Just crazy about you – The Embers

Show Stopper – The Cashmeres (for Pat)

My word of honour – The Concentrations

Girl I need you - Artistics

Baby be mine – Sweet Delights

Gonna be a big thing – The Sapphires

I don’t want to lose you – Jackie Wilson

Love you baby – Eddie Parker

Something on my mind – Karen Sue

I love you baby – The Ambers

I still love you – The Superlatives

Tell me what he said – Helen Shapiro

I also played Dust my Broom - Ike & Tina Turner for a guy at the front of the stage.

Thanks again to all the guys & gells who run this fantastic venue, you made an old man proud.

Regards

Steve Wilson
