Friday 15th September sees the third event at our new, more intimate venue. We have had some fantastic feedback following our first two events, and this indicates we have found just the right blend of 'rare and underplayed' records to reflect Brian and Chris’ stated music policy.
Some records are rare for a reason...so our policy is one of ‘Quality First’, and where we can blend quality with rarity we’ll strive to play it.

Whilst those attending will definitely hear a few oldies on the night, any that are played will be of the harder-to-obtain variety and all will be guaranteed OVO.If you’re prepared to allow us to mix these rarer oldies with less well known, but just as good (in our opinion) but less frequently played 45s, and you come with an open mind, then we think you’ll have a good night.
Brian Lester and Chris Churm have another couple of top-notch guests lined up for September and as soon as I get the nod that these are confirmed I’ll update this post accordingly.
The venue is just across the road from the Shell petrol station, it’s just the right size with a capacity of around 80 and has a really nice separate chill-out/lounge area.The car park is only small, but there's plenty of parking on the residential streets behind the venue.
Doors open at 7:30pm and entrance is a quite reasonable (we think) £3.00.
The event finishes at midnight.
