1st time for us after 2 years at St Ives also, what a great line up of professional across the board DJs and some of the most wonderful music (and many surprises old & new!), laughter, good vibes and good times had by all.

Good dance floor, excellent bar, great location.

I'm actually quite loathe to place a review as I'd like to keep this all to myself -it's that good!

Well done Sara, Dean, Paul & all the jocks and organisers, a top result! (unlike spurs but we won't go there).

Response from the promoter:

Thanks for your very kind words, hope to see you at the next WAX event

Regards Dean & Sara

Ignoring the horrendous journey from and back to North Yorkshire by rail due to ‘disruptions’ , this Weekender is one we always try to attend - its a sort of mini Whitby Weekender and guess those who enjoy one would enjoy the other . We certainly do !

This year it seemed busier than previous ones we’ve attended . As always , well organised with a friendly , laid back vibe which nicely fits into the wider Newquay culture and a fab town/coastline to visit .

Great mix of ovo & djs ensuring for us the opportunity to hear something a little different as well as the dance floor filing favourites .  It’s always refreshing for us to travel and hear what different and new to us DJs conjure up from their collections . Excellent sound system and  a ballroom floor which seemed to be a dancers delight , plus a raised seating area with amazing sea/dramatic coast line views .

Hopefully it will be the same weekend next year as it’s sits nicely in the calendar and also looking forward to the date of the 2020 Alldayer

Finally three well recieved tunes from the main room which not only captured the diversity of DJ plays , but also imagination which nicely sums up the Newquay Weekender .
