Another Stunning Night of Soul in prospect . At simply Stunning Accrington Town Hall Ballroom.  We work so hard to make this a success.  Cartwheels around Accy Towers .

Looking forward to feeling that atmosphere again the bouncing floor .

Think you may be right .

Dancers coming from Darlington to London for this . We are doing further preparation next week . Once it passes trial . Will have full wall to wall sound from the K-Array system .

Yes across the board . Some new . Original unreleased.  Licensed by record label .

Ballroom Sprung Dancefloor etc .

Find a better Venue . Dancefloor and Sound System.  Be hard pushed as Town Hall is same specification as Blackpool Tower. 

Atmosphere was electric last time . We are 

Improving the K-Array Sound System for 25th .

Sound testing for 3hrs Tuesday . Strive to bring very best .

I prefer the Bigger Venue's and this looks great, but don't want to travel all that way for another night of the same old Party Pensioner tunes.

Sound check today using additional 3.5 k of sound at constant 85db all around Ballroom was huge success.  Records could be heard clearly out in The Street . Emitting from Balcony Doors . 

Victoria Williams Show Some Sign sounded majestic in and out the building .

Bring it on May 25th . 

Looking forward to the 2nd evening. I have never experienced this before. Enjoyed my self.

                     Sound check
             Accrington Town Hall.

The house sound system performed well at the last soul night but it was operating near it's limits. The sound was good at the front of the hall but deteriorated towards the back. 

14.05.19. we trialled an additional 3.2 KW of top quality, state of the art audio equipment at the opposite end of the ballroom.

There was some apprehension in the club regarding some of the finer details beforehand but it was needless worry. The additional 3.2KW just filled it out nicely. 

The combined sound of the two systems perfectly satisfied the requirements of a soul night in a large venue . The clarity was amazing, the bass immense. 

I frequently did a surreptitious manic laugh at the sheer delight of listening to music of that quality with that much power. No bass hum. No mic feedback. Soaring highs, chest thumping lows and a beautiful mid range. Almost an audiophilic dream. I really, really liked it.

There was much more depth, detail and colour to the sound due to the house system not pulling it's tripe out and working at the periphery of its operational parameters as last time. And that bass! This is a massive step forward for the club sound. The power is palpable, the quality undeniable.

The supplementary system was running at 3/4, just right in its comfort zone. It's not quite as powerful as the Italian Dragon system but is much more controllable.

The day's work went to plan and the sound system exceeded expectations. I hope it works as well with a room full of dancers.

I think I've tamed The Dragon!
