    Hi all,get yourselfs down to kingsway and dance your hearts out for these guest djs,plus paul beard on the warm up spot,its decision time,TONIGHT30TH APRIL will be the last kingsway run by me,i,m back were i started karting my equipment back and forth 4 times a night,its hard enough just dancing and getting home,so the END of a good era,where this venue was about all about family and the music NOT MONEY.A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE SOUL FAMILY AND DJS THATS SUPPORTED KINGSWAY ALL THESE YEARS .KTF CARL PIPER,NOT FORGETTING IAN GEE........PS EQUPMENT FOR SALE AFTER TONIGHT.....✊

    So sorry I wasn't there for your last night Carl ,out having a few beers & watching my beloved Nottm Forest . I will be out at all dayer today & when im out on the floor I will thinking about all the aches & pains , blisters , sore feet , aye sometimes bloody anorl, you gave me trying to keep up with you !     Very sad news Carl,the end of an era.

    Kingsway Hall will always be remembered as a dancers venue.

    Run and led by two legends,

    Ian Gee and Carl Piper.

    The Soul Family will miss it all

    Bro,the haunting uptempo oldies

    bringing the best dancers from far

    and wide.

    Personally,i understand why Carl,

    always there for you mate.

    All the very best to Val and

    yourself and the Kingsway

    team for a great venue.

    Always loved to DJ at KWH,

    a great Honour.

    30-05-22   Can't believe it's a month since the last Kingsway, but now the dust has settled I've got to say how sad it is to see it go. Really enjoyed my time there, and had some great nights. Met a load of really nice people and can only thanks them for making us welcome. The experience of Dj'ing there was second to none and for that I have to thank Carl. We will always have our memories even though we can't relive them. So goodbye Kingsway.                    Barry and Elaine.
