Another quality line up at Ashton Ukrainian Club, we welcome two returning guest DJs. Falkirk's finest Alan Jenkins is back behind the decks after a sensational spot at the recent Rugby Anniversary All-nighter and Luci Jones with her all action sets of uptempo Northern Soul and R+B scorchers. We have another debutant in the shape of Wilxy who will be well known to members on here and a major contributor to the BVAN sessions expect a healthy portion of soul from the Motor City and much more!!

2024 is moving along at pace and not long to our March Instalment at Ashton Ukrainian Club !! Saturday March 16th yet more quality guest DJs for the Ashton Faithful!!

We have some mind blowing line ups coming your way, with one in particular in the not too distant future, more news available on the night !!! .........

Alan Jenkins will be back to join us behind the decks, on the back of a real stand out set at the recent Rugby Anniversary Niter !!! Luci Jones is another returning guest with her all action high octane selections, aimed firmly at the dancers!!

Wilxy will be well known from the memorable BVAN sessions and a regular contributor and collector of motor city moooovers, so look forward to that!!!

Team Ukrainian regulars Phil Dunn Chris Churm and Mick Howard complete a unique and varied line up!!

Once again hats off for all our regular supporters and first timers who absolutely make the night and atmosphere what it is!!

Admission still a wallet friendly £5 admission pay on the door, running 7pm-00.30 although last time people just didn't want to leave, a true testament to the quality of the night !!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my previous visit to the Superb Ashton Ukranian club, which was full of Friendly, Knowlegeable Soul People,  whom I can't wait to be amidst once again on March 16th......

BVAN reunion 

First selection from Wilxy, iconic vocal group The Dramatics from the early days!!

Dipping back into Alan Jenkins selections, a record still doing the business on the dancefloor!!!

Well it's February 29th and we're leaping towards the next Ashton Ukrainian Club!! Saturday March 16th can't come quick enough ,judging by the messages and feedback already on our soul-source event page thread, please check out the thread regularly for some classy guest DJ selections and feel free to RSVP the event.

We are constantly amazed at the new faces in attendance, joining the Ashton Brethren, a few asking about the best time to arrive, as the main room gets busy real quick, so as ever please arrive early!!!

More news on the night and in the lead up to the event ,about some amazing DJs from the rare soul scene, for the coming months, we aim to please!!!

Alan Jenkins will making the long journey South from Falkirk, as our headline Guest DJ!! Heading up to join us is our good friend Wilxy, who turned up some real stunning selections on the much missed BVAN sessions, look forward to that!!

Luci Jones resident DJ at the ultra popular "The Gathering" sessions, will be upping the atmosphere and tempo from her all action selections, aimed firmly at the dance floor!!!

Ashton Supremo Chris Churm Phil Dunn and Mick Howard will be starting, finishing and all the bits in-between to compliment an already quality line up.

The night runs 7pm-00.30 and a very reasonable £5 gets you in on the night!! Sales boxes are welcome as the "lounge lizards" offer the odd vinyl gem to peruse!!
