I think (but not totally sure) that yellow label ones are originals and the white label ones are slightly later reissues.....happy to be corrected on that though!

There are original white demo styrene copies as far as I'm aware. The later presses dunno about white ones but definitely yellow label copies done by the label owner at the request of some from the UK (Neil Rushton I think so he might be able to tell you more if he reads this), 500 of 'em.

Delta # on the re-issues is S-101-X - Delta 87770-X.

I think it's 1970 or 71 as they look like the 60's ended with 79000. So if they do a repress, would they have kept the original stampers then, suppose they must have. (Which is what Jerry said)

Talking of using the same stampers, I picked up a spare copy of "Nothing But A House Party" by The Show Stoppers (on UK Beacon) and was surprised to see it had "Mastered by Frankford / Wayne" in the run out grooves, along with a different (presumably US) catalogue number. Didn't know they used US stampers to make UK pressings???

Also, apart from the "bubbling", the label looks suspiciously shiny and "bootleg-ish" to me...

Wasn't Soul Patrol an old Cats spin? (Max?)

I think the Jamal/Lucky Davis release was probably just a brief re-launch of the Highland label, as happened with several 60s labels in the 70s (Fraternity springs to mind offhand). Cue for a new thread on "re-launched 60s labels" perhaps?

LJD I have down as 1969 with the re-issue 1980. Anyone know any different?
