Julian A good night seemed to be had by all, I know my plates of meat are killing me today . I can't believe that Tomangoes still sends a shiver down my spine, and makes the hairs stand up 35 years after first hearing it. Thanks to all the DJ's Looking forward to next month Phil Link to comment

Patto
Run Run Run NOT swing my daddy! Awesome record that Julian, think last time i heard that it was from Levine himself at the Kings Hall stoke few years ago now.Shame you spoilt it with Queen Of Fools that brought a groan to our table .Seriously enjoyed your spot though mate lots of big ticket spins. Made the trip from Donny and nice to see numbers up from the last time we came Link to comment
Pete Eccles
Unfortunately I couldn't see it out to the end, but while I was there it seemed the healthy turnout were having a great time of it, and with Ginger and Bob H still to come I can only assume it carried on that way, Enjoyed spinning a few that appeared to help things along early on Nice one Baz, Keep it up matey Pete E Link to comment

Bazm
Thanks for posting Julian nice review and a good reflection of the night. Walked up just as the Tamala Lewis was coming to an end and nice to see near enough everyone on the dancefloor turn and applause your choice and such a great record. I'd just like to say thanks to the DJ's in both rooms Colin Curtis, Mike Stephens, Pete Eccles, Bob Hinsley, Ged Lunt, Ginger Taylor and of course Julian Bentley and special thanks to all the regulars and all the new faces who chose to come to the Longfield Suite on Friday . Many thanks to all the travellers from Europe who joined us, hope you had a great night and thanks to all who came over after the Terry Callier concert. June has always been a bit flakey as far as attendances are concerned but as Julian says it was a good turn out on Friday. July shaping up to be a goodie with Pete Lyster and his monster tunes guesting, then it's onwards and upwards to the TENTH ANNIVERSARY celebrations on Friday Aug 7th with a great line up including Mick H, Nige Brown, and Neil Jones on the ticket. Keep an eye on the events guide for futher details and updates Best to all BazM Link to comment
