Guest GARV Posted September 13, 2010 Share Posted September 13, 2010 I have a British copy somewhere, i have just had a look on disogs & the information regarding the the British release names a certain Pete Waterman as A&R co-ordination, so if its " pete burns" mate then it could have been remixed from the original label when it went big. Dave Thorley Posted September 13, 2010 Author Share Posted September 13, 2010 (edited) They must have re-mixed it for the 12", but the 45 sounds generally different somehow to how I remember any of the Cleveland Eaton releases. On a side note, I spoke to Cleve when I was in Alabama, he is not well at all, fighting cancer. I wanted to talk to him about his time in Chicago working at Chess, but he wasn't up to it.
