Hi all

The Technics on Chex records - also as Tony & The Technics - were a great Detroit vocal group with their finest moment on vinyl "Hey Girl Don't Leave Me"

Anyone know anything about the group history, membership, family tree, links to other groups etc please?

Cheers

Richard

Chex was Willie 'Tony' Ewing own Detroit label. Tony was also a member of The Four Voices, also check out his nice uptempo dancer 'Every Dog Has It's Day' also on Chex.

as far as I know there are 16 releases (I,ve got 11 of them) there are two Technics and one Tony & the Technics

I've owened "Hey Girl Don't You Leave Me" for more than 20 years, it's best record on the label IMHO

The flip side I Met Her On The First Of September is pretty damned good too making it a decent double-sider

If you have a copy flip it over.
