Denbo Posted July 16, 2011 Share Posted July 16, 2011 Great night last night celebrating Dave Byrne's 40th Birthday, AT LAST!!!** Gone are the days when we can call him a young whippersnapper . . . he's now 'one of us'. :lol: Great mix of family and friends in attendance with great records being played all night to a responsive audience, all trying to keep pace with Dave on the dancefloor. I'm afraid, as usual, there was no contest. Dave won hands down yet again. Really enjoyed all the sets starting with Garry Farrington, followed by Wigan Paul, Stan Evans, Pete Everett, Neil Gibson, Mick Smith, myself, (hope I didn't miss anybody out?) and of course, crowning off the night with Dave Byrne himself, who played many a stonkin' record, maintaining his reputation as one of THE most popular DJs in this area.
