sir cumference
Wonder if the crack will affect play by the time it gets to the winner? Link to comment Social source share
Modernsoulsucks
Not exactly a new phenomena Glyn. It's also VG- or knackered. It's £30 now. Bet it goes higher. I can't figure out why anybody buys stuff like this at this price. For £30 you could buy a mint original of something which is just as good musically. Monkey
ebay is littered with destroyed records this week Link to comment Social source share
Guest Dante
I've had a few bargains on records with NAP hairlines. If I wanted this 45, I'd probably bid on it. Link to comment Social source share
George G
I've owned 'hairline crack' records for 25+ years and not had a problem with them. A crack is just a condition matter like a scratch. It may or may not make the record skip or unplayable. Some cracks can get worse but there are ways to shore them up depending on the type of crack. If you can get a decent playing copy for a bargain, why not? Link to comment Social source share
Modernsoulsucks
George, Vg- with a crack doesn't sound like a decent playing copy nor $248 a bargain. ROD Link to comment Social source share
John Moffatt
In its time, admittedly, a brilliant record, but is this just another example of the must-have mentality for some over-played worn-out oldie? Link to comment Social source share
