SWONS! I always belived it to be a £40 record.......As Steve mentioned the other side" sitting in" is quite sought after ......
December 7, 200519 yr Author Where is this record £100? £75 in sales section, quoting £100 selling price (JM)
December 7, 200519 yr I always belived it to be a £40 record.......As Steve mentioned the other side" sitting in" is quite sought after ...... Yep I'd have thought the same, suspect you'd have it snapped up at £25 Pete - mine was about that around erm... about 2 years ago. Love (and play) both sides
December 7, 200519 yr ''I'm sitting in '' is the big side at the moment, all because I started playing it last year.......... ........Ok probably not but strange how it is now well up in price.

Love (and play) both sides This does my head in a bit. LIke 3 weeks back when I listed the Van Dykes at £100 and everybody said I was a nutter, well that's what I think it's worth so that's what I put on it. I've got a "Cobblestone" on Mercury to go on, I reckon about £150, but in JM's book, £400! Brice Coefield, was going to stick £250 on, price guide is £450. Can't win really. A record like Shep, I wasn't joking when I said it would have been £20-£25, same with that awful thing with the same backing as Count The Days, £10 tops!

Think the first to have been reactivating the "Fool" side was Carms McCullough about two years ago, followed by Franz from Berlin who started playing "Sitting" around that time too...not that it really matters...Glad I got one cheap (under 20 UKP) around the same time and can see why the price is so high nowadays...everyone wants one Edited December 7, 200519 yr by Marc Forrest

December 7, 200519 yr Manship's prices for in-demand stuff usually is about 200% over the top. If he lists it for £100, you can get it for about £30-£35 elsewhere. Case in point: about a week ago a mint copy of the Shep 45 on TNT failed to sell on eBay with an opening bid of £39.99 because that's roughly £10 more than what this 45 usually sells for on eBay. December 7, 200519 yr Took one in a trade at Greatstone a few months back (in a small 50 box) It was mint minus and priced at £20 and through the deal on trades I got it for slightly less. I arrived late and looked through the box well after midnight so why was it still there if price is supposed to be so high? Mind you, did have a few other bargains from the same box.....them lads at the Greatstone eh...
December 7, 200519 yr SHEP = DON GARDNER?? I believe so. Marc I knew it When Don first came over, Andy Dyson, Mick H and myself had dinner with Don and Lou Pride in the cafe at Prestatyn after rehearsals. Don was asked if Shep was indeed himself. At the time he said no, didn't even know the record. As the weekend went on he apparently after hearing it more said it was him. But then again whilst talking to him over dinner he couldn't really remember a lot, most he'd forgotten all about untill he was asked to come over here.
December 7, 200519 yr When Don first came over, Andy Dyson, Mick H and myself had dinner with Don and Lou Pride in the cafe at Prestatyn Bloody hell Chalky...you and the boys know how to treat the stars Bet they paid as well
