March 22, 201213 yr Author n.b. I know we've had lots of material from the US trade mags but I'm going over them with a fine tooth comb this time - I was astonished to find trade adverts for Carol Fredericks (Stonel) and Nat Hall (Loop), records we presumed were underpromoted mega-flops
March 22, 201213 yr I love this record, and recently found it on soul source along with the interesting facts about the group and label. Will be playing this in my set at ghetto soul club in southampton on the 31st march ! Edited March 22, 201213 yr by tracey shaw

March 23, 201213 yr nah, its just a old format that used to get used a lot but fell out of favour Still used extensively by photographers and many others who require higher resolution images in a non-compressed format.
March 23, 201213 yr Still used extensively by photographers and many others who require higher resolution images in a non-compressed format. yeah, when anyone asks me for a scan for a CD or article, they almost always want a tiff file
March 23, 201213 yr That's because tiff files aren't as 'compressed' as jpegs ..... so they tend to be less distorted & reproduce better (in CD booklets / on album covers).
March 23, 201213 yr That's because tiff files aren't as 'compressed' as jpegs ..... so they tend to be less distorted & reproduce better (in CD booklets / on album covers). That's why I specifically mentioned that tiffs were used by those "who require higher resolution images in a non-compressed format"!
March 23, 201213 yr Another Billboard upload ........... Chris Calloway/Something else... easy beat, smooth rocker loaded with teen commercialism. Sounds rather different to how it would be described today - that's if anyone could agree on the terms and genres that could be used!
March 23, 201213 yr That's why I specifically mentioned that tiffs were used by those "who require higher resolution images in a non-compressed format"! I'm pretty sure Roburt mentioned it first. Just messing with you.
March 23, 201213 yr Not quite - look to Berry Gordy first. It was he who had the tiff with the Jobettes!
