I'd say way lower than that. I sold 2 about 6 months ago. £50 and £60. That's a sensible price.

I was well beaten for a sealed copy a few weeks back - went for $153. Mind sealed copies are at a premium.

Still way too much.

so are folks saying that white demo label copies of the lp are common ?

As an album only collector nowadays I'd say £75 top end , there was a time this would go for double that BUT recession bites and albums drop ! great Lp and practically every track a winner

No the opposite. More issues about, that's why maybe £75 for issue - £100 for demo..

Issue was £60 for donkeys years.

I'd say the Mono copy should have a higher value than the Stereo, where the separation on some tracks leaves a lot to be desired.

sealed is a definite premium for collectors..i know some who keep two copies one sealed and one play copy......i had two copies of the Tempests one Stereo and one Mono.....i sold the Mono as it sounded dire on my very crap Amstrad stack at the time....is there any noticeable diff in the mix on a good system?

  • 3 weeks later...

Demo went tonight for £97, I bought ex copy mono issue for £41 on eBay two weeks ago which begs the question why people pay three figures for the boot of someday....?

I Paid $3.00 each a demo and issue bought them in a shop in the US happy days

mot

Andy.

I assume this was a long time ago !!!
