I will have the pleasure to be presenting "Soul People" on Solar Radio this coming sunday. If you get a chance and have the time tune in and see if theres sth you like. Emphasis on the show is Soul... who would have thought so ;) !?

I tried to mix it all a bit together so you get a bit of Crossover, Modern, some Funk or shall we say funky Soul, some Deep and Group as well as some Rare Soul and a good handful of unreleased tracks.

Soul People this Sunday 10 - 12 am

  • Marc, finished listening to part two yesterday. Excellent radio show! Presented in a very professional way. The deep soul stuff was excellent! Still trying to make my mind up about the funky soul

Zane normally does the honours and posts the download on EMS.

I'm waiting patiently for it John :) Hoping I get it today so I can listen tomorrow along with Terry Jones which I missed recently.

Hi Dave, after reading your post I had a look on the flipside of my Voicemasters on Frisco and you are indeed right "In Love In Vain"...same title, same song :o !! strangely enough the test pressing I played on solar is credited to one Adkins Brothers but is obviously the sam e recording. It doesnt feature "Two Lovers" on the other side though...BUT it does deliver a different very danceable track that I have been playing over the last couple of years here and there... so obviously next to the two sides of the released Frisco 45 its a third track by the Voicemasters on Frisco which wasnt choosen for release back in the day. I have to announce this one from now on as a unreleased Voicemasters tune. Thanks for enlighten me/us here , appreciated!

Cheers henning, appreciated. That will be george hughley and the cama rockers followed by buddy cantrell "why did you leave me"...esp. the george hughley you can find quiote cheap if you look around. think Jí¶rg Brenner had it on his last list for under 40 Euro as well.

A fabulous Deep Soul 45!
