Hi y'all, I'm thinking of re-creating a couple or so album sleeves measuring about one metre square to put in front of the decks anyone got any ideas which ones I could copy. I thought Jr Walkers Road Runner might be a good 'un but would appreciate your suggestions..

Best one I had was Earl Van Dyke on UK Motown.

Swapped it 20 years ago with JM. Never seen another.

Brilliant cover. Awful album.

Scan anyone?

"Irresistible Tammi Terrell" - fell hopelessly in love with her the moment I saw the cover in the window of One Stop Records in South Molton Street, still in love with her 38 years later...

FROM THE VAULTS(1 we what more can a boy ask 4) WITH ALL THE RECORD LABELS ON IT

Here My Dear by Marvin Gaye.

Tammi Terrell "The essential collection" What an amazing photo, fell in love with the voice at least 35 years ago and still loving it now. Gotta agree with Tony Rounce, one of the greatest female voices to come out of Hitsville USA

British Motown Chartbusters, Vol.3 - the one with the silver cover.

Reminds me of when I first saw it as a kid in 1969, and marvelled at the "space-age" design of its time........

Motown chartbusters volume 1

Jamie - Eddie Holland - you could frame it looks so cool.

Earl Van Dyke (this does have some good tracks)

Motown Memories Volume 2 - has some great pictures outside Hitsville.

Motown chartbusters volume 1

I remember when my brother bought it around 1968. I used to have so much fun shaking the cover from side to side, just to see the blue lettering in "Chartbusters" quiver!

Marvin Gaye."Whats Goin' On"...the man looks so cool ,you gotta love that leather trench coat with the collars up.....plus a brilliant neat haircut considering its 1971.

Brett....

Marvin Gaye MPG, just a black and white portrait of Marvin in his prime...

I met a guy who designed loads of the motown album covers atthe museum a couple of years ago, Curtis McNair, it was fascinating talking to him....lovely guy too...
